I had some cunt who can't keep his kite in the air for 30 mins yet is out riding in side off waves bitching at me today on the beach how I didn't help him fast enough when he crashed his kite and then blaming me that he lost his board. and this after I checked he was ok and spent a half hour looking for his board while I should have been riding waves.


The bottom line is you are responsible for your shit. Don't kite in conditions you shouldn't be and don't expect people to rush to your aid. If someone helps you in any way then be thankful.

Its not about losing waves while looking for some ungrateful shits board but when I get bitched at for doing so then I get pissed.

I've had idiots with the herd/safety in numbers mentality seeing me as their backup plan
without my knowledge and clearly in places far beyond their abillities too.

Only had 1 ask if I would get his board from the tank defences. I let him know
the local police station deals with lost and found. I knew this through
years of hard won experience!!

Most are easy to spot, they take an age to set up, often fully aware they are in for an arse
kicking and a priceless expression but since nobody is at the spot
more suited to their ability they have seen you and you are the backup.
Occasionally I wait till they have the kite in the air, come in and tell them it was great
before foxtrot oscaring leaving them all dressed up with nowhere to go. This
is in conditions where if you are not prepared to go it alone you shouldnt go out.

I will help anyone if I can but dont rely on me and especially
without my knowledge. I may not even know you are there as has happened
before when 2 frinds set up upwind of me. They didnt know I
was struggling in the conditions and they told me later they both had a real
Kitemares

In the last few years have also been arriving at the beach to be told by 5 minute
Kiters not to go out cos the wind is shite etc...and proceed to have a grrat 4 hour sesh

When this guy had his kitemare he had two of his buddies on the water with him. As soon as his kite goes down his buddies go straight to shore and land their kites! And then gets mad at me after I help but not quick enough!!! Shit at least I checked he was ok and made an attempt to look for his board he was crying about. Guess he thought I should abandon my sesh and ride 2 miles downwind til I found it.
