Um er, a couple of things.
1) I might actually not be as gay as this ID suggests, it's a wind up of North Riders in the UK some of whom know me, and my apologies for the deception, can't have folk wrongly thinking they've 'offended' real gay people.

2)SUP, I did this round island sailing marathon thing recently, it was blowing force five to six and it's 40 odd miles round this island. There was this dude on a SUP, started at 8 in the morning and eventually finished about 4 in the afternoon, paddling against 25 knot winds and a 5 knot tide at times, honestly, I'm as much in the 'SUP is ghey' camp as anyone, but I went up to that dude and shook his hand. Then he said there's a woman still out there, she finished after 11 hours, so clearly some feats of definite prowess in SUP world.

3)Hetracil, I'm sorry to say it's a spoof, it was some US vote on an amendment to some constitutional deal which meant Southern Californians were no longer to be regarded as GAY or something. It's not going to stop you becoming a SUP rider.

So,to the guys that PM'd me, thanks for you concern and to the rest of you, it can be a laugh, but it also can appear to be hurtful, I'm not sure everyone is like me and enjoys a good wind up and wether I were Gay or not, personally it wouldn't upset me, but I'm sure there are folk who do get a tad upset.

I mean, imagine you had a kid and it took up SUP riding.

I'm always amazed when people are sup-ping out in overhead waves, they get way more waves than the surfers, Because they can see the sets and are more powered than surfers. Sup-ping on glass is lame/gay though, nowhere to secure the beer.

Now since you're mentioning PowerSki concept from Bob Montgomery that is really GAY :naughty: :duh:
Which resemble rather like an ugly pregnant Guppy than a SUP with it's 200 lbs weight submarine
and lot of problem with the transmission, starter motor and water leakage to the motor housings design flaws. :alarm:
Powerski is a scam that has been going for 15 yrs from Bob Montgomery who is a genious at spin and deception.
He has used Powerski as a tool to deceive people and con them out of their hard earned money.
He has been promising to deliver boards for years but instead he takes the money people invest for dealerships,
distributorships and investment for his marketing toys.

Than a distributor Chris Kanyaro wasn't happy with the delivery of the PowerSki in Australia,
so he stole the idea to be made in China and selling it worldwide, becoming a bigger scam artist than Bob himself. :angryfire:
One of my friend is still waiting for parts at least 2 years he ordered from him paid for and never delivered

The message is don't let our water sport taking over by these gay sh!t product to scam people
like CF recently here on KF :!:

Wow, never thought this would go such a long way!

Off topic and discrimination...no need to keep this going!

In Flamers now...I guess soon it will be locked.

Let's go kiting, no matter your personal preference ;-)

This thread really penetrated the psyche of the kiteforum members. Too bad it had to end before climax.
