I listen to surfers like you all the time how they were riding waves where in fact you stayed out in the chop all day long. You know what gay is? Riding twin tip in waves that's gay or riding surfboard outside braking waves and then claiming riding waves. I choose riding waves on SUP over putting on your ridiculous boots any time.
You know what, your right. You get yourself that paddle board and have at it. Careful not to get dummied taking it off the roof of your car in 35 knots.
Those days are rare, and the absolute highlight of many a kiteboarder's season. I hope you do find those breaks with 0 knots down at your level far away from the real world of great lakes waves at their best. You won't be missed. In fact, once you get it dialled, bring your breakthrough ideas to the SUP forums, and perhaps leave this tired old kite forum to those who wanna kite when the going gets good.
