Wow... looks pretty cool! Nice simple print...

Interesting things I can spot, compared to the '07:
- Still an even number of struts except two less, now back to 6 struts.
- I'm curious if the two-pump system is still there.
- Two struts less and no 2-pump would seriously save weight.
- The wingtips seem to be cut-back more, perhaps to reduce the chance of line tangle?
- There seems to be different material along the TE.
- There is a oval shaped reinforment - like on the Rebel '08 - near the front pigtails.
- It's hard to see, but it looks like the Y-shape is much wider and connecting on the LE between the struts instead of on the struts like in the '07

Can't wait to try it. I have ridden all Rhino models so far since the first in 2001. Stoked with the '07 in size 10. I also have the 14 which I think is a bit too slow and too heavy. I'm thinking of changing to Rebel '08 9 and 12, but before I do I would definately like to try this one in sizes 12 and 9!!!

Keep it coming! More pics and info please!

G'day,

lets hope its still a hard-core kite and not "de-tuned" too much to suit the masses. If it goes upwind well does it mean its no good for other things that like kiteloops and unhooked. I know the Rebel fits the bill but is the Rhino too far removed that its aimed at racing only? That would limit the sales I would imagine. Anyway it's all very interesting, so far Ken has done good so lets hope this is another feather in his cap!!!!!!!!!

Cheers,

Robert.

Sizes starting from 9?

Is that small enough? Maybe for heavy weights, but for lighter riders Rebel 6m2 for high winds.

--- and one more question, does it have the little bungie relaunch thingies like the Rebel or it doesn't matter on this kite?

cheers,

Robert.

so is the 5th line "active", as in supports the shape, or is it just there for safety? looks like a long A-KPO bridle for the front lines...
