Jever,
I do not no the weight and indeed this one looks chunky. But have you seen the other sizes. 4'6 and the 5'2 are looking good.
Like this 4'6:
Length Width Volume Thickness
4'6" 36.7 cm 6 Ltr 2.2 cm
What do you think?
Cheers,
Robert

board is quite heavy. I had it in my hands and it is really HEAVY. Next week i'll try it on the water, I hope the weight doesn't affect it's riding...

What's more, all but the 4.6 model are EPS/PVC sandwich construction. EPS is a sponge waiting to happen inside your board. Just say no to cheap production boards at top prices. Get a custom or semi custom with solid core cell or PVC core for less.
( the 4.6 is solid PU )

I rode with te TT 4.9 this week-end, it needs a lot of wind this board and goes very slow, but a very good grip with the 8 (!!) fins. Pritty heavy also. il looks like a volumnious board (4 cm!!) but it sinks very easily certainly not an easy board.

Forget the 4.9 it's crap, it's not just an upscaled 4.6 but a completely different board. Very thick and heavy!!
The 4.6 and the 5.2 are really nice boards and really worth trying. Not as light as a custom but probably stronger! The straps they come with are nice!

What's the goal of this board then? Why do Naish produce this board? First I thought Naish made ONLY good boards, they have a very good reputation & team to do some R&D, but seems not to be the case for this board. What's the marketing goal from Naish with this board, I have the impression I heard only heard negative reactions on the 4'9.
