Slingshot Foils 2018

Hi,
I realized that Slingshot didn't release new foils for 2018 so far.
Does anybody know, when this is likely to be happen?

Slingshot don't make foils, they make stickers :) Check out the 2018 Moses range of foils, the new Slingshot foil is somewhere among them...

Yes they did release 2018 line in late fall.

Start with H1/H2/H3/H4 wings in addition to H5
Second they released 576 (580) and 600 Moses wings, replaced 42” mast with 101/111 and added 91cm mast which comes with 545 (558) wing.
I wish they did release the 41/71cm carbon masts and 548 wing too but probably it’ll come later and they should go after 590 or even lower aspect wing which would fit same fuselage (Moses doesn’t have one but I hope they will make one)

They picked great gear to rebrand and I like Slingshot logo on my foil.

They have made hydrofoils yes, and true about the "sticker" put onto the Moses hydrofoils, but it is the same as Naish and others do, so just fine if it works :rollgrin:

I hear they have just, or are about to, release a foil right now, based on an ELF foil, with a sticker :naughty:

Concerning the foils I was definitively wrong.
Thanks for the interesting update! :)

But as soon as I know, there was no board update.
I've the 2017 Dwarfcraft 4'6", which looks exact the same as the current model.
Does anybody has information or an idea about new boards? :)

The 3’6" is golden as far as I consider.
I'd take a (platinum:) 1" thick 3' board but I don't think it's coming. Fred and Reed would look their usual great riding 3'

Slingshot did not update their fuselage as Moses did - right ? They keep the nose ?

No, not yet. That nose while scaring some people is kind of helps protecting the wing and stabilizer. Doesn’t bother me at all.

i got one.
nice waveboard! nice perfomance in the onshore condition of a Black Sea 1-2,5m waves
Alien Air is a bit more forgivable at the very first steps in learning how to foil, though there is nothing extraordinary to learn foiling with a Converter)))
its a bit heavier comparing to a ordinary kite surfboard, but i didn`t noticed any effects of it while waveriding
