I think you’d be fine with either 13.5 m or 15m XR. The smaller kite will feel quicker to turn and will be more freestyle. Sufficient for 10 knots at your weight and flat water riding. The 15m will allow you to ride in as low as 6-7 knots given large door and longer lines, but you’ll struggle flying it when white caps start (16 knots on flat water).k2thiago wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2018 9:34 amI´ve checked on their websites, the 13m Turbine is indeed LW construction, but for the Cores, the LW starts on the 15m. Even doh, I tend to think that the 13.m still being a better choice, is that correct?grigorib wrote: LW kites usually have different, lighter construction compared to smaller sizes and I know that 15/17 sizes Core XR LW and Turbine are that way. 15m is my lightwind kite at my 90 kg weight and 17 is too big for me.
Logically 13m/13.5 should be right size for you, in my honest opinion.
You can always add 10m extensions to your lines for ultimate lightwind riding 13m size
Turbine is amazing kite so is the XR. 13.5 will get you riding in 9-16 knots
13.5 will be easier to jump with
15 will be better for true LW
You’ll love either of them
