Gongs makes a G10 foil that's not expensive:

Another link with the outline of the foil, definitely not a low aspect beginner foil:

It looks like "Dwight" has owned one:

I was wondering why Zeeko decided to build Bullet - the fastest g10/Alu foil on the market (according to them). Now I know

If you really hit logs that often, why are you interested in a higher speed?

Good question!
although it doesn't take much to stop you cold...even a stick.

I was at first thinking the same - wouldnt it be much better with a big slow wing and freestyle instead of speed ?

But then again, if one WANTS it, nothing can stop you, right ?

Like riding a hydrofoil in low water areas with rocks in the first place, or riding a surfboard when no waves, and so on...

Respect for riding in these places, simply because you WANT TO, no matter what style :thumb:

I hit a stingray last week in OBX, little guy probably no more than 8" wing span.... sent me flying... of course I saw him at the very last moment and was not able to react... it was like slow motion from there forward...lol

BTW for those of you who may not know, the sound is full of rays, I couldn't believe my eyes!

Yes I have hit them many times in Hatteras. You stop dead. I have rarely seen them first due to the murky water. Wondered what it does to them.
