Hi all!
Cool, that's looks wonderful, perfect conditions, good to see kids enjoying the sport!
Looks like we are in years when the sport isn't the first priority
good to have kids, so much fun!
On not so perfect conditions my 6years old son have fun with the Nasa4.6 also!
Wind condition6-10nots not more, he can hold the track, not really win some upwind,
mostly because he can not hold more wind. After 5runs he need sandwich and tee! On good hard packed snow no problem.
I was set up him the Nasa on the bar with 4lines works perfect!

you guys have great kids and I am sure it is a great fun, great quality time, but...
1. unsafe, unsafe, unsafe.... so, what will hapen to 65 lb body in 10 knots gust? the answer - it will fly, it will be dragged, and it will be violent. and I don't think you, your kids and your wife need it.
2. kiting on snow is extremely simple sport, but first the skiing/boarding skills have to be aquired. Sorry I don't see great mastery in boarding and skiing on those videos (and frankly it can't be at that age)
It is absolutely imperative first to know how to ski/snowboard (more difficult part, but much safer) before learning kite control (its easy, but the price for the error is much higher).
15 years of age is the bare minimum to start at. And the person has to be accomplished skier by that time.

oh, and by the way, the two boys in the above mentioned link have been skiing and snowboarding since they could walk, and can out ski most people I know on Telemark ski's as well. They also climb, whitewater kayak, kitesurf, (n. shore maui) etc etc etc

it's cool to be concerned, safety should be all kiters first priority... but waiting til 15 years old? i know, as a dad, that by the time they hit 15, they are emotionally, and in a lot of cases, (including my own) physically gone, into teenager land where your opinion about safety doesn't mean squat.
keep your kids close. TEACH THEM THE SKILLS... and enjoy
