help!!!

Postby Windguy » Sat Feb 14, 2004 11:47 pm

I found some fiberglass resin and hardener and thought I'd ask you guys if it would be a good resin for a laminated pine core board. Do you think I would need fiberglass cloth for reinforcement? Thank you for any help you might be able to give me!!!!

I don't know much about builing ply boards but check out the post "first attempt" a couple of posts back. Some of the guys give good advice there.

hi,
there's not much point in using the resin if you dont use glass cloth.
a pine board around 1/2 - 3/4 inch thick should be strong enough without reinforcement.
paint or varnish will be alot less hassle.
