It would be interesting, which kites are used where.

For example in Germany the main kites you see on the spots are:

Naish ARX
Wipika Airblast
North Rhino
Flysurfer MastAir

95% 4-line kites (not including schools)

But what about the USA?
California, Florida, Hawaii?

France, Italy, Brazil, etc

Are there geographical differences?

Thank you for more info!

Hi,
in Austria (Neusiedler See) the most kites in summer 2001 have been Wippika, and than Naish. Also a few ARC. Let´s look what will happen in summer 2002! Best regards Leo

Hi,
There are a few of us in Mexico City, but these are the kites we have. I have a waterfoil, my brother an arc and mastair. My friends have mosquitoes, wipika free air, naish arx, quadrifoil kitesurfer. I know guys with wipikas, some with cabrinha.
Most people go for inflatables, because that is what they see in the magazines and on tv. I prefer foils for the light winds at my local lake.

Saludos y buenos vientos,
Andres from Mexico

North East USA, including Carolinas:
2001: Wipika and Naish for inflatables, fewer slingshots, north and cabrinas (but seeing more around lately).
Foils :mainly f-ones,less flexifoils, mosquitos and ARC's, lately some Mast Airs have started to fly around too
