Hello there..... I have been reading the different posts in many places on the net by now, but frankly I have come to the point where I am just so confused that I thought I'd ask :
BOOSTER or MACH-1 ?
I would look at me as an intermediate kiteflyer quite eager to get into more jumping this coming season.
Thanks for sharing your views and helping me making my choice!
Cheers,
jido

Hi Jido,
I think it is not easy to tell yet, because not many people tested both kites. The Mach1 is new and have been tested by only few people. But it became very good reports. It is quick in turning and has a lot of power. F-one says the Mach1 has the widest wind range.
The Booster is quick in turning as well. There are different reports about the restart of the Booster, some say it is not possible, some say it is no problem.
But one disadvantage of the Booster is, that the battens are very long and therefore not good for being packed in a small bag.
Try to get your hands on both kites and same size to compare yourself. Otherwise wait for more test reports. Maybe someone already tested both?

Thanks for your answers....
I agree with Tody's point: could someone who would already have had the chance to ride with both kites share with us his/her views on the BOOSTER vs. the MACH-1 ??
Thanks so much
!!
Cheers,
jido.

the Booster 12.0 has in total size 16 sqm, is it right?
and does the Booster have more lift than the Mach?

Thanks flysurfing..... wasn't obvious that you had tried both in your first post.
Besides the important question of price, was there anything else that played in favor of the Booster? We fly quite light winds in my area (typically 6-15mph) : will the booster-12 be enough, or shall I go for a gigantic Mach-18?
I know, I know, the best will be to try out myself, but there is no dealer for FOne or Windtools in Boston. So, I will have to buy the kite (on the net) to try it out, and I do not want to get the wrong one.. ;( !

you can fly the 12m booster in 6knots?
i (74kg) needet about 10knots even with a 6'3" board ?!?!
fun started at the point where my 12m² flysurfer speedair was just overpowered, but still usable (~14kn)
