i hear they are harder to get into than you would think. the guy i talked to that had them said he couldn't get into them with one hand. maybe he just wasn't that good at it. they look like great bindings

as far as i know, the NICE 13 and the NSI tantrum have been THE kitewake-bindings in 2001....

I bought a pair of those Luxies and I have tried them twice now and they
are really easy to get in and out of, even with my feet in neoprene
socks for the cold water we have here. The safety release strap between
the two levers didn't work so well for me becuase it didn't pull in the
right direction to release the levers, when it was routed through the center wide footstrap but it was easy enough just to
flip the levers open by hand and pop right out. You could just connect it from one lever to the other independently of the center strap and it would work fine, but might get in the way.

You can also sail off the beach with your feet in the bindings but with
the lever open if you are in a gnarly launch situation. That way you are
out in a instant so they are pretty safe as far as bindings go.

You can crank the rachet style strap down and really lock your heel in
tight either before you are in or easily with one hand once you are in.

Although they they are really easy in/out (just as easy as the LW
sandals I normally use..if not slightly easier with the neo socks) i'm
still not sure if I like them overall because they are really
restrictive compared to sandals..but bindings are supposed to be that
way I guess other wise they wouldn't be called bindings! Maybe i'll get
used to them and decide I like em or maybe sandals/foostraps is really
better for my style or lack thereof. Some more trying will tell.
