A technical comission prooved some safety systems in germany. They test the power, which is necessary to release the system.
The results are very interesting ! Systems with an pin QR like maui magic (coppy of Wipika or Takoon) are needing a lot of power to release. You have to pull with 30-50kg!!
Naish X2 loop need 20-40kg !! At a traction from 295kg Naish loop brocke !!
All participants have problems the quality.
Only the Kiteproshop bar was testet very good. The safety is easy to release. You have to pull only 5-6kg.

Not only the Kiteproshop bar,
but also the Wichard solution proved to be a top solution!
And remember the Kiteproshop bar is based on the Wichard, too.

hahaha just a joke ! You expect too see ...Sorry.
o.k. , but the Wichard is only one part of the system.
Did you expect, that the Naish QR works so bad ? Also the maui magic (Takoon an Wipika) works realy bad. Many peopel trust these systems. I was surprised. We have a Takoon bar and it looks always very good.

In the test, it says that the second release on the KPS bar only works if assembled the right way. Which way is the right way?

You should know it....
As you can see the straight side of the pin goes through the small tube to secure it.
The testers put in in the other way which means they sticked the pin with the bended side into the tube.
No shit it doesn't release...
Since it is well explained in the manual, this won't happen, but they didn't have a manual!

That's what I thought. But they didn't make it clear in their comments...

I know, it is a little bit ridiculous.
There are so many things you can do with other systems as well so they don't work.
Or like connecting the lines on a kite the wrong way. Does it work when you steer to the left and the kite goes to the right?
