I have major troubles bending the s-glass to make nice rails so I guess if I could glue a strip of ABS or other plastic next to rail and then laminate it from top and bottom of the board it would hold?
Any suggestions on material and technic? And first of all, will this work?
thanks

this is how they do it.. abs to core, top laminate to abs bottom laminate to abs... abs rails should be about 2cm wide
My question is if you can bend the abs plastic with heat to the core curve, or do you need to cut it like most do..

Acrilonitrile butadiene styrene ....
or something like that.
rugged, medium density thermoplastic
similar to pvc in strength but a little less dense.
used for things like cheap canoes, kayaks, coolers etc.
and now kite-board rails.

Where do can one find it?
Is it replaceable by something else?
Let's say, forex/hard PVC-foam?
