Hey Everyone,
A friend popped his leading edge on his 2001 8.4 airblast. I am getting some replacement bladders for him, but the guy I am getting them from only has 2002 airblast bladders. Will they work?
Thanks in advance

Mesure the span and the valve position
I think it would be ok. There is nothing too much special in these bladders.
When the cabrinha nightmare begun last year, some guys use Naish bladders for raplacement.

Hi

It depends WIPIKA are very well known for changing things in the middle of a season e.g I have a 2002 AB 8.4 its leading edge bladder has 1 x Inflating nozzle I upgraded my 2000 AB 11.8 to 2002 spec thinking it would be the same as my 8.4 WROONG my new AB 11.8 has 2x Inflating nozzles lol so be carefull.

(Off the subject but valid) Also my friend has a Caution that uses the 2x inflaing nozzle system and needed a new bladder...thing is shop only had older bladder with single inflate it does work...however the valve has a tendency to creep into the LE and get lost not ideal at all.

just one thing:
the replacement bladder must be as big or bigger than the original!

you can fit a 11.8 bladder into a 6.3 if you work careful enough.

just check out how big the bladder is when you take it out and inflate it -- it's bigger than the tube it was fitted in.
all guys i know that own a 10.0 airblast have a 11.8 fronttube inside cause the original tube blew. . .
