Had the pleasure of taking out the 19m Spectrum today in wind average of 10kts in small choppy water.
This is the third time I have used it and by the most enjoyable.
My previous big kites were Rhino 2 18m and 20m.
I would compare the grunt factor to the R2 18 but this kite is much lighter on the bar and turns twice as fast - even on a 50cm bar.
My riding has leap frogged with this kite compared to the Rhino 2's
to the stage of trying kite loops and landing the odd one!
It looks on the higher side of med/high aspect in the air but a factor I
like is it doesn't mind a touch of back line.
I have bought the 10/12and15 spectrums recently (after trying many other 04 stuff) and was wondering if I needed the 19 but today has all but decided that for me. This is the kite for 9-13kt conditions for me.
I am 92kg and was riding my light wind board - 152 Wavetray copy.
I will try and get some pics in the next few days.
