Kites On Ice in Madison, Wisconsin in the US hosts a kite festival each year in Feb. This year they are allowing kiteskiing and kitesnowboarding, and I plan to get as many midwest kiters out there as possible with their snowgear. Hopefully it will be a big turnout - so the idea is not new, although it may be to the Switzerland area.
