How does a harness work for a four line kite such as my Flexi Viper??

Cheers.

The harness allows you to sheet in/out to power, or depower, the kite. It also allows most of the power fo the kite to be transferred into the harness to your body, rather than through your arms and your grip. So rather than getting tired, you get to ride more.

Ok thanks for that info, but I should have worded my question better. How do you rig a harness to a four line kite? If used a bar like kitesurfers surely I wouldn't have control of the break lines?

Where does the harness attach ?

Cheers,
Thanks again for the earlier reply.

if you are using handles then you tie a line between the handles right where the main lines attach. it's best if the harness line is attached in a manner similar to how the main lines are attached.

Except the harness line sticks out the back of the handles whereas the main lines stick out from the front.

If you're using a bar, you hook into the harness using the "chicken loop" which attaches to the front flying lines.
