Hi I weigh 96kgs been kitesurfing 2 1/2 years and want to know what other competent heavy weights are using (as board and kite reviews are always done by fly weights). presently using switch 180 but its too heavy to do board off tricks and airush lifts 12.2 (12-24knots) 9.4 (british weather doesn't get windy very often)

Hi, my weight is about 90 kgs.
I ride a 144 or 155 X-Shooter.
Biggest kite is X2 14 sqm. Still looking for a good bigger kite. Maybe X10 18 will be the answer. But with the 14 I get going in winds from about 13 knts steady winds while having fun.

Greetings
Toby

I am 90kg and find that boards that a too small become hectic. Always need to be super powered to avoid sinking in lulls. My minimum size is somewhere around 144 x 37.
But it's also because I have big feedt and couldn't ride a 32 cm board like Eric

I am 110kg
Gear is
Underground 6' Directional
Cabrrinha Prnakster 150
Naish ARX 7.5
Cabrinha BT9.4
Cabrinha BT15.5

I'm generally pretty sweet in any conditions using some combination of the above. Still struggle a bit in light winds, but not too bad- it's just that get up on to the plane bit- need to use longer lines on monster kite I think

I am about 115 kgs and use the following

12 RRD supertype 18+ knots
16 RRD suppertype 14-25 knots
19 RRD supertype 10 knots min dont know upper

all on home made boards which keep comming down in size with no noticiable lower wind range lose. Current board is 150*40*1.5 tray 3 cm constant rocker.

Boards are fast which suit the suppertypes.

cheers

shane
