In the 3 years of riding numerous makes and models of kites, 3 aspects stand out. The cut of the kite, stitching and material. When I started riding LIQUID FORCE KITES, especially this years line, I felt they had come up with ‘the goods’ for me.

As I like to spend a lot of time in the surf, I found most kites perform pretty much the same. It’s normally common to drop your kite in the water when starting to surf in larger waves. All kites I’ve seen that are smashed by 3 to 6foot of whitewater, will twist and not relaunch. This is where ‘cost’ comes into play. I’d rather pop a Kite that’s $1500.00, than one costing $2000.00, saving the extra heartache of $500. I’ve found the ‘Liquid Forceâ€

I have found the same thing with the ball valves. Allthough, I havd found after using the kites about 5-6 times they start to work - go figure!
Can't wait to try them in some decent waves.
I have the 10/12 and 15 and don't think I will need the 19 after riding it the last couple of days. The 15 has a great bottom end for it's size.

Found the same thing with the wing tip bladder if it was too soft but hasn't happened since with more pressure.

i took the 12m out for its virgin flight today. what power?? it was windy enough. most peope were out on 8's 9's and 12's. i'd be one of the bigger riders and can normally hold down quite abit. but the kite was fully loaded, all it wanted to do was boost me into the air. seriouly on my first tack, i just felt the power, my edge was so fully loaded, it was scary. anyway i had to come in after a few minutes, to drop a kite size. noramlly on my mid aspect bronco's would have been ok. but the pwoer is unreal. i just can't wait to take it out fro a nother spin in slightly lighter winds.

I did find the wing tip ball valves to be little bit annoying.

but all in all i was very happy with the kites performance and build. we're going to be ordering a load of the kites to keep in stock. however we will not be selling these to beginners, there just far to powerful. so if your a beginner this isn't the kite for you.

Hi Can any of you tell me what size bar you were using on the range of 8,10,12,15 and 19.

I have a LF 10 and only a beginer but also have a 14 CO2 recon but i want to order a 8,12 and 15 maybe 19 not sure if i will need it.
I think the LF 10 is fantastic much better then the co2 much more stable.

I would recomend the LF,s to beginer as long as you select the sizes properly.

They are nearlly bomb proof which is what a beginer needs as well.

Can anybody give me some reviews of the wind ramge for the 15 please i am 6ft and 90kg

I am almost same weight as you and on 130 wavetray and 142 flx boards i would say the range of the 15m to be 11kt sining -18kts not overpowered, with 13-16kts being the optimum.

I must say i agree with everything here. I have ridden the 8,10,12,15,19 and currently have a 10,12,15,19 great lowend i am yet to fault the kites in anyway. I am also ridding the mlf with alpha bindings great pop sick for when its blowing hard.

Any body have any info about what LF are going to come out with later in the year for the 2005 range.
i did see a message on here about 2005 kites looking great can you give us a few hints mick.
