Arc Kites
I was looking for a little advice from Arc users.I currently use a 630 both on land and water.In a good 10/15mph wind the kite is ok,depowers very well and provides plently of lift for jumps and use with a mountain board.I need a little more power however on the water but am a little concerned that if I go for a bigger Arc 1120 that the depower range will not be good enough and I will be totally over powered.I am not really interested in LEI.At only 58kg I am not a heavy weight.Would the Arc 1120 be to much and its depower not be good enough.Any lighter riders use a 1120 or F Arc.Any other recommended foils that are as good as or better than Arc's with a good depower.Any advice would be welcome.

Regarding the 1120, you can depower the kite fine with the rear-most attachment points, but you can get more depower by moving the rear attachment points forward up to 1/3 the distance from the TE. This also increases turning speed. This will get you plenty of depower. At 58kgs (135lbs), you may want to go with the 840, instead, unless you plan to ride in 8-10mph winds.

With an 1120, the downwind launch may be too risky for you if you're just starting out with a large kite like the 1120. There's more description on the rear attachment points, too.

I would probably think an 840 would be fine for you at 58kg.
The 1120 might get you going a bit sooner but will probably over power you too soon.
