Fuel 03 11 vs Rhino 04 12

Postby frenchkitemaniac » Mon Jun 28, 2004 7:51 pm

I am 80kg (175lbs) and riding a 136*38 wakestyle
I wanna get a new 12sqm and have those two options for about the same price.
Looking to feel the gap (rather canyon like) between my Aero2 16 and AR5 7.5
Anyone could help ?

I have not tried either kite but since you are begging for opinions, I would get the 04 Rhino because I think it would have much more range than the 03 Fuel. I would get just about any 04 kite over any 03 kite. In fact, I am amazed they are the same price.

Then start saving up for a new 8 or 9m kite or even a used one to replace that old AR5.

You might have gotten more responses if your subject ended in a ??? They way you have it, it looks like you want to TELL about the 03 Fuel vs the 04 Rhino. Those who click on your post because they want your opinion are disappointed to find a question instead of info. Others who already know about the Fuel vs Rhino probably didn't click on your post at all.

By the way, did you try doing a search of the Fuel vs Rhino?

I´ve owned both of them. Fuel 11 had same top end as brilliant 13 for me, but was jumping quite differently. Real booster but not that fun in gusty conditions. R4 12 jumps completely different, you need different technic and more board speed. I didn´t like it, want to simply send back the kite and up it goes. Range is great as well as upwind and overall performance. I think I´d go for the R4 or wait for an opportunity to get a bargain on Fuel 04 or Vegas.
