I received today my Rhino2 12m and looking at the manual, it says that the front line should have more 10cm longer then the back lines.
This way the kite will always be powered up or im wrong? On my wipika I use the back lines 5cm longer then the front one. This is exactly the oposite.
What should i do?

set the lines so that the tips open just a little when the bar is nearest to you (maximum power). That's a rough good starting point.

What kind of bar did your kite come with?

Rhino IIs come with different length lines.
This way you don't have to mess around with your bars. Buy the stock lines and you will be fine.

From my dealer info I recieved the RHINO II will be coming with 26+1 m lines. The 1m being the leaders I'm guessing..currently all RHINO II's will ship without bars but any bar should do from what I hear the people are using WIPIKA Throttles on them and they seem to be doing fine. The new bar should be avaliable November and complete kite packages will ship with new Scepter bar.....

The brochure says 10cm longer front lines because they are assuming that you will be using a chickenloop setup, and this is more or less a standard setup. Get the kite in the air and set your power setting so that fully powered the lines are equally tensioned, when fully sheeted out back lines should be a couple inches slack, and bowing out. Pretty standard rigging procedure for rhino2, the kite jumps great with a bit of slack in the back lines. experiment.
