I'm looking for a medium aspect 12 meter or so kite. I'm about 75 kg and mostly ride in the ocean. 13knt-?25knots. Any comments would be apprecitated.
thanks

Hi,i asked the same question a while ago,and from the response,i'm going for a naish aero but a 16m i think the main reason is because of the wind range 7-18mph- and also i think this kite will see me up until i decide to go for a high AR kite didn't have much feedback about the Co2 though-good luck

One kite to look at also is the Airush Flow. I got to fly the 15.5 a little while back and it was killer. The kite is super user friendly but still great performance that will grow with you. The kite was very stable and resisted falling from the sky. Airush builds their kites super tough also. I currently fly 02 Lifts and have put them in some serious surf and they have survived great. I think the manufacuture wind range on the Flow 15.5 is 8-18 knots. Give it a look. Great kites!

I'm going for the AERO 2. It's meant to be even better than the X2 in term's of user friendliness... I personally don't like high AR kites but love the features of the X2 even if you take away the jumping ability.... and the AERO 2 looks like a low AR X2 from what I've seen of it....

Andoni had a valid point. X2, Aero2, 2003 Cab's, 2003 Norths are all preference. Either way, in terms of quality, you can't go wrong with any of them. Quality is all up with the best. I think they all got it right in their own ways.

Does the CO2 fly off the front lines?

I have been flying a 2003 12 co2 for three weeks now both flat water and in the surf.I am riding up wind in 10knts jumping in about 12knts and can hold the kite so far in 20 to 23knts.The new kite comes to the window almost as fast as a high aspect kite.good hangtime also not quite as much hight as an x2..It relaunches very easy and if you have average skills in hard to drop out of the sky anyway, I am about 78kg and ride 157 tt board.build quality is great ,FLY HIGH AND PROSPER Steve
