I dont doubt what you say, but these aren't wake boards here, so you may be misleading just a bit. I talked to John Doyle about the sharp rails and he tells me that we are fine sanding the edges of the skate series. In fact, he told me it was safe to take off as much as 3/16 of an inch. He also told me that kitesurfers are the only board riders that he has seen that do not/will not tune, cut, grind and sand their boards edges to their likings.
If your skate series are too sharp, SAND THEM. I notice the newer ones come already rounded off a bit and no way near as sharp. But some of the older ones are sharp as a mofo. The edge usually needs to be sanded on anyway afttr enuff failed sandbar jumps, beach skid, catching the bottom...next thing you know, your heels edge is beat to hell and needs repaired by good ole simple and trustworthy sandpaper.
