Hey Ano.
I lived in St. T. back in '95 and there was a windsurfing shop on the East end that was flying kites even then (amazing!). I can't remember the name, but definitely a great guy who owned the place. They were located just South of Redhook.
Lately though, most of the Virgin Island kitesurfing that I have seen has been in St. Croix. St. C. is way more amicable in general and the winds are more consistent.
REAL kiteboarding might be able to help you out with more info. Anyway, enjoy your trip.

I kiteboarded a bit off a few islands next door in the BVI a couple of summers ago. When the winds are up, it can be great! Fortunately, most of the VIs are ringed by wide bays with sandy beaches. So you should have a beach to launch off of for most wind directions. I would pick a beach that isn't overly crowded and has clear side onshore or side shore winds. The islands have high hills that can often create dirty air over portions of the bays that can stall your kite. I would also be careful to avoid going too far off island. If you end up ditching your kite, currents or prevailing winds may commit you to a loooong swim, perhaps to another island!
Have fun,
Rick Iossi
