has anyone tried
http://www.windfinder.com
It an awesome site giving the hourly recorded wind speed for most places in europe showing on a 24 hour chart so you can see the trend for the day, and then a pretty good 3 day wind forcast.
WELL WORTH CHECKIN' OUT
Does anybody remember the 'halo' forcasting site from iceland. now there was a weather forcast. and for some reason it just vanished into hyper space without a trace, earlier this year.

Have you tried
http://www.wetteronline.de? They go as far as a week ahead, for the whole of Europe.

i always use windfinder and wetteronline.
WF always tells too much wind and WO too little.
so the difference between the two is what will happen.
bonus:
if you're pretty sure there'll be no wind, look at WF only and you'll find a reason to spend the day at the beach
when you're in office and freshly ran out of excuses, just take a peek at WO only, and your day passes easier
