One thing when buying a boot. check that it does not have any rubber on the surface of the shoe ie further up from your toes as this will impede your foot from sliding into the footstrap. A thin boot from top of the boot to the sole is good.

Hello Jo,
Thanks for the info! I found a place online that sells the Okespor's.(water-play.com) Great suggestion!
How is the sizing? How many sizes smaller than my 'actual shoe' siz should I get?
Or does that rule even apply w/the Okespor's?

Thanks in advance!
K.

My experience is that the OkeSpors wear out very fast. I have a box of junked ones in the barn. You may get a full season, but I don't think so. I have covered the top of the toe area with shoe goo, due to the rapid wear in this area. The Gul (Murrays Marine) has rubber over the neoprene in this area. THe rubber also seems to help me stay in my straps better.

My favorite is Oniel's "Freaksock". I love em!
