has anyone come up with a good homemade mountain board for kiting, if so, where did u get the tires and suspension...

any other comments or suggestions would be appreciated...

I'm looking for the same thing. The closest thing I've found so far is at: http:www.doomwheels.com. It's not a board, but quite cool, and very homebuildable. Also check out ebay. There are a few different mountainboards (most new) for under $100. That may make it cheaper to buy one.
