Hi Ryan,
which size are you using?
Only on the big kites I would use the bridle.
Sorry, don't have any pictures of the bridle available.
cheers
Toby

I have heard diferent ideas on the bridle for relaunch. Most the time it seems people have an easier time just relaunching it the conventional way. Remember one wave and it could be all over and if you wave sail alot its just a matter of time.

You should use the 11.8 with the bridle.
It will be a lot faster. I don't think you need the battens. I attached some to my ARX 15.5 and only a little difference. Use shorter lines and the kite will get very quick (about 20m). I don't know about the relaunch with the Wipika system. But I don't like the fact grabbing into the steering lines. I used a 5th line with 15.5 and it worked good. The fifth line you can wrap around your hand pulling in some more line, since it doesn't get any power on it.

I know!!! i would love to try all the kites in the world what a job i could get my hands on but you now the time i had to put in to find my kites second hand on the net .You know i am still The only person in my area doing it .It is a shame thought, where i kite surf is just amaziing i have photos but now my scanner is giving me stick,It is flat water Lake With a big part and a small part the small part is about 500 meters across and quite shllow and the big part is quite big .It is a old sort of salt water case the sea dose come over the sand bank in big storms, but not very often .Around the lake is half sand and grass but right in frount of the sea is a beach which is perfecy for teaching .I am off to Majorca soon to stay with a friend so i hopefully get some good kiting with people, (throw some of my tricks at the rest of the world). in there then i am off to get my wave dose in france for the summer .So i need to get my kite togather so I sazed and saved ,And now i have a Litewave69 And a orly!85 and a 8.4&11.8 ab and a 15.5ar5 so the summer is looking good surfing when the waves are good then kite as soon as the wind gettes up.O yea and a mountain board when there are no waves and no wind or if there is wind and it is offshore all.All i need now is sun glasses and a sponsore so i can put some skickers on my stuff. IT would be worth a german company doing it case there are so many germans (blood germans!!!) At the resort .And i do love teaching people how to kite i allso Bring a 6.5 wipika around with me to teach people with .i used to teach people with my 15.5 but i lost a good few people in the wind !!! only joking.

ohoh, sounds like a tough life though!
Why d you have a AB 11.8 when you have a AR5 15.5?
Do you know that the Wipika sizes are projected, do you?
So the AB 11.8 has 16 m² and the AB 8.4 has 11.4 m². No need for the AR5 15.5.
Cheers
Toby
