Just a few passes by hand with water and fine wet n' dry paper about 3-400 grain won't take any real depth of and will blunt any razor edges.
This applies to any board or fin not just slingshot

Why does everyone think they need hard, sharp rails to stay upwind? This is not the case people, soft or rounded rails work even better and are safer to your body in this case. This is my opinion, i was a big believer in hard rails, until i got tired of going skip skip skip skip when i got overpowered. I picked up a softer rail and was able to have just as much upwind ability with a smoother ride.

Put on some 1mm neoprene socks if you're the type to rub moistureizer on your legs at night! LOL Maybe someone needs to come out with kite-leggings. (just kidding...)

These boards do handle a lot of power. I use a Zepplin (smaller than a Drake) and a Jarvis (bigger than the Drake) and both are real sticky on the rail. I would assume the Drake is equally adept at holding power.

I remember when these boards appeared. I want one! I said. After a closer look, I pass by.
I am tired of saying: SAND THEM, SAND THEM, SAND The F!#@@ rails!!
Slingshot has very high quality kites and accesories but these boards have crazy sharp rails that do nothing to board performance and are dangerous. Period.
