Rhino II 10

I have two Rhino 1, the 16 and the 9,3.
I already have changed the 16 for the Rhino II 16, but I still hesitate for the 9,3. I find the 9,3 a little bit too fast (specially during jumps). Do you think the Rhino II 10 is faster than the 9,3, or did North make a more comfortable kite for this area?

I'd say: get a Toro10.
I switched from Rhino9.3 to Toro8 and in comparison to the 9.3 I love the Toro8.

It's as fast but way more predictable. It does exactly what you want. Then a fast flying kite is also comfortable.

I did not fly a RhinoII so it may be the same.

I have a demo Rhino2 10m. I flew it on the beach yesterday in 6 knots. It does not turn faster for sure. I can't tell too much without some more wind. There is a slow turn setting for the back lines, well inward of the setting I used. I think the kite should be fun. The newer kite (Rhino2 vs Toro1) should have much better range, provided you like the handling. I will post more when I ride it in more wind.

What do you think (for my 90kg): Rhino II 16 and 10, Rhino II 16 and Aero II 10, or Rhino II 16, 12 and Toro 8?

it depends on the wind range you want to cover. With the Rhino 16 an 10 quiver, at 90 kg. you can hold winds from 10 to 30 knots, with no gaps. You can go down from the 16 to the 10.

The Aero II 8 would be useless for you unless there's 25+ knots.

I think you bought the wrong kites. Rhino2 18 and 12 are what I plan to ride. The range is much higher now.

I would say Rhino II 16 or 18, Rhino II 12, 10 and Toro 8m. If you can't afford both Rhino II 10 and Toro 8m go for the Rhino II 10m. With 90kg you can hold a lot of wind. The Toro 8 in your weight will need substantial wind forces to get going (25+ mph).

I just bought a rhino II 12 and went out for the first time yesterday in 20-25. It is really fast and really powerful. I used to have the rhino I 12 and the Rhino II 12 is a lot faster. The thing very stalls. Its pretty awesome. It is also hard to control the power. The air are awesome.

I rode the 10m this morning. The jumps are better, more hang time and height. The handling is similar to the 9.3. I used the slow turn setting too.

I have used the 10m R II in 20-25+ knots and used the attachments points closer to each other for slower turning and it was fine, not too fast, and bigggg jumps with lots of power.
