.. so why should you want us to stay attached to our desire to cross Africa only on the sand!
In these conditions, I've some scepticism about where Sergio's Atlantic Crossing took place... Any Idea ?
Really entertaining however
Nobody would have ever blamed them with a name around "kitetrip in Africa", it's just the wordings they use that puts soooo much emphasis on their wee trip. That's the funny/pityful part

In honor of this incredible Trans Sahara trip,
I am thinking of a Trans Mohave trip. Here's my plan.
Day 1. Drive the support vehicle and crew (wife + 3 dogs)
to the edge of the Mohave Desert.
Day 2. Kite on some dirt. Complain about the extreme hardship and heat. Get a big gulp from the 7-11.
Day 3. Decide that dirt is just too dirty and go to Lake Mohave.
Day 4. After all this hardship, I need some rest in Vegas.
Day 5. Kite on some more dirt on the other side of the Mohave desert
and claim success.
Anyone what to sponsor this momentous adventure?

oh sorry.. I stimulated you with the ATLANTIC CROSSING and you are now asking for links....wow..huihui.... no computers in Italy at that time.
I used to work with windsurf mags (around '82 / '85) and I should ask them for old copies and scan pictures and stories, translate and give it to this forum (together with some NEWS that came in during the following times, talking about Sergio's records and WORLD titles, achived playing on the beach with his friends). But really, this desert one is really unespected to me. What a man, I love him, our flying stud.
@ maddy: Hey, that would be great if you´d do that
I just wanna now some more about my heros!!!
Oh man, last night i was havin´a vodka red bull, and wenn i took the red bull in my hand, this image of our prince with the red bull helmet flashed through my mind, and the can fell out off my hands! I Guess things will never be the same!!!!
