In other forums the different measurements of sizes have been discussed.
And this discussion is correct since it is not responsible acting from the kite manufacturers to have different types of sizing which can cause accidents with deadly results.
All companies should use the flat or surface area which is the total size of the kite when layed out at the ground. We don't won't projected area, it confuses us.
Therefore please everyone who has good contacts to the companies who are using projected area tell them to use the surface area!
These are: Cabrinha, Wipika, Takoon, Windtools.

Takoon made the first step to avoid misunderstandings in puchasing the right sizes:
on their kite bags they printed the size AND the surface area. (Takoon size x1.36 = surface area)
Very positive!!!
