the smallest board we tried was a piece of wood about 65x20cm (no rocker, no fins, just footstraps).
it was possible to go upwind and jump.
landing was kinda difficult.
jo:
all you'd need is a nice 28kts and a 16m kite.
while riding a very very small board, you still have an edge.
downwinding with a kite is not really possible faster than the windspeed.
so get really overpowered and fly the kite at the edge of the window, powered up.
be sure to have 2 guys watching you as you blast downwind cuz you'll have to land the kite somehow.
i did some knee-drags when a dark cloud broaugh me some 30 knots while i was out with 16m and i dragged back, landet the kite and then had to swim for my board ..
i suppose that barfooting would have been possible.

I have seen some new UG for Martin Vari that looks really small side by side with a WT 137. I guess something like 110 x 34 with flips ends and inserts for a thrid central fin. He rides this board with a 14 BT 2003 on a gusty 15 knots day.
