Remove Guincho-Portugal from September and put it in June/July for 8m-12m kites 1m waves advanced-user windsurf/kite spot. It's a small beach, though, and wind it thermal and gusty. And there are rocks all over the place with cliffs downwind. It's by nature more a windsurf spot than a kite one.
good to find you

so then ... what about PENICHE ?

Now that is another story! Peniche is one of the best kite spots i know. Hard sea but plenty of space. Waves from side-off to almost on-shore in one huge bay. I have inserted the spot in Kitebeaches with a nice satelite picture. You don't get Brasil water temperature but that is the only thing missing (and night life ;-) ).

Okay so where is this spread sheet?
This is a great idea

If I have vacation, it is pointless researching a location if there is no percentage chance of wind!

This spreadsheet or list of climate induced wind and locations would go hand in hand with a another more detailed list of beaches and resources like kitebeaches.com

What conditions in SPI mid-late Feb? Wind? Air temps? Water temps? What drives the wind ... frontal?
