I just saw the new Takoon bar.
It is quiet heavy and little bit thicker than the Naish bar 2001.
Great the TWO quick releases at the depower AND normal loop.
Pictures will follow soon.

Hmm, then I think I saw a picture of it on the net. I think 2 safety mechanisms are OK.

I don't think wheight will make a big difference BTW.

the weight doesn't make a difference, that is correct. It just feels heavy.

here the pictures:

the caster lines are very long

this is quick release heaven (3 all together!)

here the quick release of the safety leash

to roll up the lines you remove the neo at the end of the bars and do so. When all rolled up, you move the neo back and the lines are safe.

the bar for the Skoop 10.5 (surface area 14.3) is IMO too long (about 70-80 cm).
Looks like the kite doesn't turn fast with a smaller bar.

Look at the "Tankoon Skoop" review: "We use a 55 cm bar. The 10,5 turned even softer than the FOne. No pressure in the bar. A very neat "Airblast" feeling, but faster and sweeter." So I think and hope (I bought one), the Tankoon bar is to long.

Sounds interesting. Anybody have pictures or links to this bar?

Anybody have opinion as to whether this set up is as good as the one on the new S2 bar Toby recently showed us?

Also, does anybody have a link to where one can purchase this Takoon bar?

Thank you~

Look at http://www.takoon.com and it shows that the Skoop comes with a carbonbar with the depowerloop going THROUGH the bar.

So this must be "preproduction" ?
