Just tried the new Naish one - if there really was a santa we would all have one right now! It charges from the mains and seems to hold enough for loads of kites. You just dial in the pressure and it shuts off automatically (while you are doing your lines!) Can't think how it could be any better or indeed of anything that I want quite so much.

It just seemed to be so expensive, Like £130 ish. I once saw a rechargable tyre inflating pump for your car at £39. Maybe it isnt quite as developed but from what I have seen of Naish control bars, they do a lot with garden hose.

Also, thinking about UDS. Hmm ! Doesnt instill confidence in me.

Hmmm.. I guess its probably not that expensive to make but the fact that it is rechargable and most importantly automatically shuts off at the selected pressure means I would/will still pay the extra. This is waht makes it usefull ie you can anchor the cut and do your lines while it pumps the kite up. That means a couple of extra minutes kiting each session if you have a one pump system or leave your struts inflated. Works for me!

Saw a electric pump in a shop in oz that went to 7.5 psi and had a purser switch that you could set to any purser. The shop was KITESURF AUSTRALIA the guys in there are great :thumb:

Got an electric rechargeable pump from coleman.com and had the same problem. Its nice that it does most of the pumping for you, but I still had to finish it off with a hand pump.

What pressure do you pump the kite to with the naish pump, what the recommended psi? I also agree they are definitely worth the money, especially when you are pumping up 20m kites, and you trying to squeeze a quick ride in after work.

Thanks
