might be worth looking at putting a proper chicken loop on the end of that centre line, once you get a few tangles and twists into a rope line that attaches to your spreader bar, you've had it, it simply wont unhook.

Thanks for your tips : sq225917

But the bar will be used with a quick release like the "famous" one from Wichard.

This release has free spinning and this will solve all problems you mentioned.

Anyway the system can not be so bad; the European champion will use it next
snow-season.

Come to Lake Silvaplana/Switzerland in March and you will see what are the advantages of this system.

Three pilots will use the SPIDER bar there.

Hai Gunnar,

I use the Spider bar on all kites, because you always have a better performance, no matter what kite you take out of your quiver.
The SPIDER bar uses aerodynamical and geometrical effects, and the aerodynamics and geometry are the same on all flying object.

If you ask me what would be the perfect kites for snowboarding,

I recommend :

Libre Bora : For speed freaks

PKD-Century : For Power freaks

JOJO-ET : For people that want a big power range

Gin Yoz : Easy to use kite

JOJO-RM : For experienced kiters only !!

You can use the Spider bar in combination with the UDS-System. This way you can take the bigger kite, use the turn time advantages of the spider bar and change the characteristics of your kites "inflight".

Greetings

M.M.

M.M

I have checked your web-site and have a question.

How is the performance of the Gin Yoz compared to the other intermediate kites?
(more or less stable, upwind performance etc).

Will this kite come in bigger sizes? (7 or 8 m^2).

It is an interesting kite since the UDS can be fitted directly.

Kind regards

Urban.

Para sez:

"use the Spider bar on all kites, because you always have a better performance, no matter what kite you take out of your quiver.

Statement=FALSE

Don't bite off more that you can chew Spider Bites!
