X2, 14 or 16??

I want to change my AB 11.8 for an X2.
I have the X2 20 and found it very light and fast, so I want the same feeling at the smaller size. Should I go for a 14 or 16?
I am 78kg (170lbs?) and want the kite for 13-18 KT
My other kite is AB 8.4 (15-23KT) and I like it very much, but who knows?, a X2 10 could be a good replacement.

X2 16m2 is "smaller" than the other 16m kites, u start riding well @ 12 knots but the upper end is very good.

I dont know about the 14m2 never ride it, but i heard lots of people saying that the 14m2 is the "perfect" kite for the naish x2 .

im aero 10 x2 14 and 20 luv this quiver and the 14 likes to be powered up i hold the 20 in up to 17 or 18 mph no problem and when its closer to 20 the 14 comes alive

Hi Hernan, don't know about the smaller ones but a mate of mine (70 kgs) has the 16m and can stay even in 7-8 knots on his 147 x 45 lightwind killer and uses it from 10-18 with a smaller board.
Even if you do weigh 8 ks more than him maybe the 16m will be a bit close to your 20m

8,12,16,20 - thats what you want 16&12 are the beast 8 is a bit fast and 20 a bit slow

if you have a 20 i would not get a 16 too close thet really overlap , i tried the 12 16 20 quiver not good never use the 16, so i went to the 14 and got me a 10 for high wind

Get the 14 because its faster and has about the same low end as the 16. The 14 will allow you to move the kite faster in marginal wind and therefore generate more power. I'm heavier than you and still prefer the 14 in that wind range because it flies better. Best of luck

Get a 10m Aero (original 2001 one) for your high wind kite, the 2002 ones are too quick
