does anyone have experience with wind in Hurgada, Egypt in the time from November to April?
From experience is there wind at all or nothing? Or only light winds up to 4 Bft and not more?

Thx for the info

Toby

Go for this link, select "wind speed" and play around with the time frame:

Looks OK. Data is from Hurghada airport...

Hi,

Well, we opened in June 2002, I have been in Hurghada in March though, but just for a week but then it was 5-6 bft for 5 days and then a southern storm and big waves and then dead calm and fog....

I trust the statistics recorded by the airport and according to them there should be wind. It's thermal in Hurghada so whenever you have temperature differences desert / sea you will have wind. When it comes to windy days per year HRG is very high in the statistics.

But as always, wherever you go, there is never a guarantee.

Cheers,

Bengan
