why do some countries have seperate numbers for differetn services., in an emergency you shouldn't have to think which number to dial
The number you have to remember in italy is the 113, 'cause they will connect you to the service required, but if you remember the number you can also call directly who you need, for example the firemans 118.

u have too call from fix line or from mobile just put area code before this numbers.

on the sea or mountain ask for search and rescue team before u go kiteski or kitesurf.
try too inform hotel what are u doing and where!
and browse local kitesurfers.

Spain: 112

Just be surre you stay alive for 1 hour or better:

1) dont call them from 9 to 10 ( breakfast )

2) dont even call them from 2 to 4 ( Lunch & Siesta Time )

3) dont even dream to call them when "Real Madrid " is on TV

Better you bring your own Medical service with you.
