NYLON CORE???

Since nylon inserts for fins and straps are common,I guess if is possible using it or other plastic material for building a whole board core.
Can the epoxy resin and carbon bind on it?

since nylon is water proof why even mess with epoxy, you could stiffen the top with wood strips or more nylon???

You can drill a hole larger than you need, seal off one end of the hole with duct tape and fill it with epoxy. After the epoxy cures remove the tape drill it out for the exact size that you need. It will be plenty strong enough.

Nyon is pretty heavy, I think you will end up with a board that sinks.

Just use bindings and pray you do not end up having to swim in.

I was thinking about a 0,5-1 cm nylon blanket with one or two carbon strings.This is the board...Bullshit?
