The meaning of the word "takoon"

Is it just an artificial brand name or has "takoon" some meaning in any language? Anyone can tell more about this???

I don't think there is any meaning behind this name.
It is probably just a "marketing" strategy.
"Takoon" would have been choosen because it is far away from what we already have in the kite marketplace. It is young and modern.
Color and graphic are designed with the same spirit, it is similar to the way STANCE magazine has positionned itself.

Takoon: ancient middle english Verb; to smack or smash from behind. You big mo fo s.o.b. im gonna takoon yor ass one day, Bitch! Just kidding! Takoon is a hunting term used by southeren usa whitetrash. just kidding! Takoon is not a word at all its a apperatus for flinging the unsupecting and humbling the most secure among us.Not kidding

In my infinite search for the Takoon videos I found an arabic song in Kazaa called Takoon. Go figure. It might mean something at the end.

I believe it is the name of some wind in africa, like in italy the scirocco(love it don't you Jo), or levante and poniente in spain, or mistral in france, or norte in mexico, etc. I believe it is arabic, maybe from morocco(think i read this somewhere), can any one confirm, why not write takoon?
