I spent 15 days in Malaysia back in 2001 between December 28 and January 13.

I was in Langkawi and Penang. There was no much wind in these locations during that duration. Maybe I had no luck then.

The water was 100% invisible and moved a catamaran at that time in low wind.

Sorry,
Mo

Hey dude,

Sorry the water visibility was zero i.e. you can't see what's in the water...

The wind moved the Catamaran but sometimes if you don't see what's in the water you are worried... if you fall in the water and the sand is like mud esp. in Langkawai.

yet nice country and cheap.
Have fun,
Mo

I advice you to contact local guys in Singapore. They go Malaysia "every weekend" because kiteboarding is prohibited in Singapore. http://www.xbsports.com.sg/

Enjoy Malaysia!!!
