do a search of all sites I know for used big kites (all 2001 models)
under 400$
and ask what to choose from : (why?)
Wipika FA 14.9
wipika AB 16.4
Cabrinha BT 15.5
Naish ARX 19.5 / 21.5
for a 200lbs rider
want constant power (Im more of a cruiser
than a jumper)
easy relaunch
durability
wind range 10-17 knts
plywood board wide and long (180x45)
if it will be windier I'll sit on the beach and watch others - but it is very rare
around here
if you know of any other option ...
(the 400$ limit is a must)
my ex kite was a Wipika 11 FA 2000 model

(I know it looks very "poor" but at least
I will surf - till money will come )

tnx
Dan J.

if you're not into hangtime and want something that has a more constant pull and better low end grunt, go for the lower aspect ratios....freeair sounds like the best choice out of those listed...and it will probably feel very familiar to you since you're on a 2000 freeair 11 (probably almost identical since it's a year newer and therefore a bit more responsive for a bigger size).

My call would be the 14.9 FA, easy relauch, smooth power, and sweet turning even on a small bar.

The rest of the kites in your list a high aspect ratio pigs, your'd be hard pressed to find a rider who really enjoyed flying any of them.
