I will compare the 05 with the 04 18m2 Vegas, 04 was a very good light wind kite, fast, good pull, and very good hangtime, Now the 05 has even more low end. It Does feel a bit like the R5 in term of tuning you need to spend a bit of time on it but when you get it right (30min), lock yourself in the micro loop and she will delivered the max power. One of the rider here is 95 kg is was going, jumping in 9/10 kts with the FLX 142. I can talk about the high end yet.
