It's true - it's confirmed on takoon.com/news:
And super good news , Lou Waiman and his girl friend Helen are riding now Takoon Kites ! Thanks a lot for their choice !

he was already riding for airush, not for naish...
this is what he told me (picked it from my site):
After hearing that Lou was riding for Takoon, I asked him why he had chosen for Takoon.
And because the Takoon (skoop) are ment to be riden with a chickenloop, I asked him what he thought about the use of chickenloops.
Here are his answers:
'I am riding anything.
I think the chicken loop is good for flying
the kite better, but its dangerous to use a shackle. I am not ready for the
chicken loop yet. one day soon I will try it.'
He's not riding particular for one brand.

YeaH C-quads have awesome sideways pull for wakeboard sytle moves, apparently Lou redesigned his pulley bar system for C-Quads

... what gives with anyone caring about what Lou is riding??!! he rides whatever he feels like, he doesn't do comps much anymore, he's just one of the best freesurfers out there..
