Toby, this link works now from here,

http://www.sportscoverdirect.com/

however, in the kitesurfing section it does say "Please note: this policy is available to UK and Ireland residents only."

so i'll keep looking.

BTW, excellent to the xtreme report on Magawish, thanks.

cheers, xid

Xid...

I like New World Kitesurfing Order..."nuko" has a good ring to it...works for me...anyone else?

Who can help fire this thing up and get it going??

Does anyone out there have a relationship with the manufacturers or magazine people to get them interested in helping with the funds and organizartion?? WE NEED TO HEAR FROM THESE PEOPLE AT THE BIG COMPANIES.

It would be great to have a panel of top guys in the sport to sit on a cyber-board of directors to make decisions and help implement policies, review kiter rules, certification requirements, etiquette, etc. AND campaign for financial support from the industry.

I would nominate Rick Iossi first of all because of his extensive knowledge of safety and accident reports and genuine concerns for our kind (are you reading Rick?..would you be interested??).

Everyone with constructive ideas please share them here.

Roberto

I believe our local area has just had a "kite marshal" budget approved from the local council, don't know anything about it, but it should be a step in the right direction
There you go, using this one exampleit is possible to begin lobbying local govmnt for funding to keep the sport in OUR hands, NOT others (simon). This kind of initiative would allow us to self police with funding. Amazing -this is actually the first step already done.

Keep it Ours.

Ron.
